Pastor and Staff

Mike Job became our pastor in November of 2022. Mike and his wife, Heather, are North Carolina natives who live nearby. They have two daughters who are ten years apart in age (or as Heather says, they had an only child twice). Mike answered his call to ministry in his late 30's, and had a long career managing retail grocery stores. Mike also operates a bread route in the Denver, NC area. Mike graduated from Liberty University in 2016 and is nearing completion of his Masters of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Mike has a passion for discipleship and for local church revitalization. 

Beth and her husband Rodney have been members at Mariposa Baptist church for most of their life. They have four adult children. Beth's father was the pastor at what was then Craig Memorial Baptist Church (Before the name change to Mariposa Baptist Church). Beth has previously served in other church administration roles until she retired recently. We are blessed to have someone with Beth's experience and talent serving in this role.
